pappabear 128
i have wormed hens before with panacur dog worming liquid that the vet prescribed for the hens at 1ml per adult bird , i now use the marriages layers pellets with flubenvet added so much easier
patterdalejoel 669
free feed this for 7-10 days, the hens dose themselves as they cant overdose as they wont overfeed, simplicity myself and delivery from this place is easy. http://www.farmandpetplace.co.uk/products/poultry/poultry-feed/poultry-feeds/marriage-layers-pellets-with-flubenvet-10kg-layers-pellets-with-wormer.html no more fannying around measuring and weighing! gamerooster 1,179
looking at a gamefowl site and quite a few on there said they used tobacco to worm their gamefowl, anybody ever heard of it? dark ages and witchcraft are back , stick with known medicines and your only in preston i will give you some if you ask I think it was more for putting in the nest boxes to kill mites, but some do use it for worming fowl, not sure if it works, but some swear by it. They chew it up to about a pea sized ball, and give it to there fowl, they reckon its the nicotine that kills the worm's. I have always used ivomec, by using an eye drop, i administer a drop under each wing, one at the base of the neck, and one above the vent, kills worms, lice and mites. My grandad once told me that they used to give tobbacco to pups as wormer. Again though i dont think it works.
