STUNTMAN 552
Well the season is coming to an end, its warming up, the female coyotes are bred now and the fur is breaking. Had a solid season with my set of Glitch,GaGa and T taking 30 coyotes with no other dogs help and Glitch and GaGa on 42 as a pair or with another Stag. I think I got out run 3 or4 times during the season also. Some races will last in my memories for a long time.Saw some other good dogs out here do well also. Nothing special with my crew just Stags doing what they were bred to do ,but the outfit here have pups or pups on the way with some very good breeding's and if 20% make it as Stags, coyotes will have some problems next season. Take care Stunt. Quote Link to post

Buch 145
Another great read! Ive got a question or two if you dont mind. Do you get trouble with rabbies? Does much of the game out there have it? Also i spent some time in Alberta and the place was lifting with Pronghorn. Can you legally take em with the dogs and would it be possible cause they looked like they could shift when ever i saw em. Cheers. Edited June 22, 2013 by Buch Quote Link to post
Dan Edwards 1,134
Dont know how much Doc gets on here so I will give my answer. We dont have much trouble with rabies and I think most of us try to get our dogs vaccinated when we think about it. Second off, you cant fool with pronghorn legaly but it dont matter cuz you damn sure aint catchin one no matter what. Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,466
Do you need landowners permission to hunt? Or are you hunting public land? Quote Link to post
Dan Edwards 1,134
both for Scott i believe but for me i just hunt all private and ya having permission sorta is a plus Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,466
Is it pretty easy to acquire? What with coyote being a pest and all. Do many people run coyotes? I missed the Lumis coyote dog round up by a day a couple of years ago, would love to go one day. How do you go about entering your pups? Quote Link to post

Naw as long as you dont tear shit up most people will let you run them. I just let my pups go with whatever dogs I am running at the time. I usually will have two grown dogs and a pup down most every time I go but sometimes not so much. Hell half the time all Im hunting are pups. Two seasons ago 90% of my catches were with two young gyps that were just about 14 months and 18 months at the beginning of the season. They did it though. Quote Link to post
NickF 50
That video is amazing. If you drove for that long in a straighlline round here you would take out 17 houses, 12 sets of traffic lights and 3 farms. I went to Canada when i was in the Army as a lad and I remember going 3 weeks on the Prairie there without seeing a tree. I was busting for a piss I tell you Lucky ;-) Keep the footage coming! 1 Quote Link to post
