Gaz_1989 9,539
I think that's a perfectly acceptable question mate and i don't think there is a simple yes or no answer. I've tried both and decided that kennelling outside works for me. The dogs get QUALITY time off me morning and night. I let them out of there pens, bond with them in the garden with a beer or a brew, walk them, feed them etc. Some people would say that in the house you can bond with them and spend more time with them - but it's not one on one quality time. 9/10 times they are under your feet, begging for food, getting shouted at for one thing or another - in a busy family environment this is. Whilst my dogs see me less than if they were inside, when they do see me it is calm and quality time with me. Also I think they like there own kennel space after a day or night grafting. Just my view on it. Gaz 5 Quote Link to post

bird 9,898
mine are outside, Bryn very loyal dog he comes in at night for couple of hours, then outside in his kennel. Got my pup Buck in with him, but play with them both in my garden alot of the time . its the time you spend with them that counts, not having them under your feet 24/7 .!! Quote Link to post
