James@Scarborough 0
You should find that the .22 shot shells are many times better in a smooth bore (It sounds like that's what you have) than a rifle. Most of the people who try them fire them through a rifle, which is not what they are designed for, hence the poor reviews. Quote Link to post
Geoff.C 0
Mongo, I see you are in Wales, so my local shop who always stocks these shotshells is not convenient for you. There is a 3 page thread about them which you may find of interest? Search for CCI shotshell Rimfire round,(In the rimfire ,centre fire and shotgun section) it's from when Moletrapper had the same prob as you.(No ammo) Quote Link to post
camgun 0
I have a 22 shotgun, its on my firearms ticket because the barrel is short. Shot mice and rats close range (10-12 ft) in barns and outbuildings, had put .22rl plus shorts through it for dispatching foxes at the end of digs. I have always been able to get the CCI shells, they come in a pack of 10. Dont shoot it much, might take it of my ticket for a FAC air rifle. Quote Link to post
garyw 0
the best thing to do is cut 6 inches off the barrel-then it will fit in the bin! Quote Link to post
