new locator choice

Recommended Posts

I can't knock the b&f box or collar, heard folk say they ain't that accurate but iv never done anything but open up bang on where you should.. Just got a ortovox (I think) collar as a spare, all I can say is I'm glad it's a spare, it's as big as something I'd put round the neck of a lurcher, having said that I did say that about the b&f when they first came out and not had a problem with it.

I thought the same about the ortovox collar at first but then thought if the dogs neck and collar cant get up a tube the dogs body wouldn't stand a chance of getting through. This one here has been very well used with no problems at all. At the end of the day every locater on the market will find your dog.

Your right enough jessdale, I was kindly given it to use as a spare on busy days so wasnt going to turn it down, had a play about with both collars this morning & both gave the same readings off the b&f box..

The deben mk3 is good.. Especially if your not lookin for anything special because there cheaper than b&f

I use the long range finder and alway break through right on top of the dog atb

More accurate than the Barryvox pulse in my opinion having used both, and the size is handy when covered in shit,no batteries to bother with and it can be fixed if need be here in the UK .Without the

had a chat with a few mates that have done a fare ammount of terrier work they werent very complimentary about the deben terrier fider they all praised the b&f locator not just for ease and reliability of use but also for after sales service which they say is 2 nd to none most of the deben sets found there way to ferreters or as part of the backfill.
