Moorman 1 1,357 Posted October 10, 2012 Report Share Posted October 10, 2012 it just the size of a brick and still not as acurate as a barryvox pulse , now you d think they would get barryvox to build them a locater box as barryvox make the collars for them More accurate than the Barryvox pulse in my opinion having used both, and the size is handy when covered in shit,no batteries to bother with and it can be fixed if need be here in the UK .Without the need to send abroad.Also my mate sent a new box back to Ortovox as it let water in and they wouldn't replace or repair saying it was his fault.Plus you can set feet and inches or metres and cm.In my opinion a lot of pluses and its purpose made for the job,shock resistant and waterproof. 1 Quote Link to post

Just got a ortovox (I think) collar as a spare, all I can say is I'm glad it's a spare, it's as big as something I'd put round the neck of a lurcher, having said that I did say that about the b&f when they first came out and not had a problem with it. I thought the same about the ortovox collar at first but then thought if the dogs neck and collar cant get up a tube the dogs body wouldn't stand a chance of getting through. This one here has been very well used with no problems at all. At the end of the day every locater on the market will find your dog. Quote Link to post
