new locator choice

i imagine this topic has been gone over a few times,i started with no locator then used the old 15ft knocker box,used those for years then jumped to the b&f but thats knackered now beyond repair my fault should of taken more care its the old set the 1 with batteries in collar,now ve prob only got another 5 or 6 digging seasons in me and i will b e keeping clear of any mammoth sized digs ,so what do you reccomend just for a knock about with the terriers i like the b& f bt have no knowlede of the new long range debens are they up to the job,thank you for any replies.

Well the only deben I've used with terriers is the mk1 which I still use out ferreting and is we good, but I've got a mk3 ferret locator and its a piece of shite, so if the long range is anything is like that I wouldn't bother, If your just doing small spots I'd get another mk1,
