Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
I celotexed the roof this year and side of my court but still have the fresh air blowing though it seems to keep it just above the freeze point ATB Cookie Quote Link to post
ferretville 69
Never use straw or hay just shavings suits them fine . All of them are back together in the big hutch in the shed so there pretty sheltered . As for the water bottles a put them in thick socks and have plenty spares just incase . I will be starting the season in the next week or two got to go and clear sum cover on one of the permissions as farmer been seeing rabbits kicking about so need to get that sorted and keep him happy . RossM 8,119
When I kept ferrets their bedding area consisted of sawdust on the floor, an old football with one patch and the rubber inner removed, that then had an old 1mx50cm fleece blanket, halved, one half ripped into strips and the other half complete, that along with paper shreds and they would make them selves a nice warm nest, Quote Link to post
Carraghs Gem 1,675
The rubber mats while easier to clean arent enough on their own so ive gone back to using sawdust Quote Link to post
sam007 34
last year I used the fibre from inside some old pillows I was a bit concerned that it could get caught in their claws but it was fine .Itkept them warm and easy to replace Sam Quote Link to post
