Why should your preparation change apart from checking they have access to fresh clean water ?. if there in a clean draught free hutch what needs to change ?.

Good idea...will head to my nearest pound shop to see if they have any.

put a couple socks over the bottles ,...lot less hastle

I celotexed the roof this year and side of my court but still have the fresh air blowing though it seems to keep it just above the freeze point

Never use straw or hay just shavings suits them fine . All of them are back together in the big hutch in the shed so there pretty sheltered . As for the water bottles a put them in thick socks and have plenty spares just incase . I will be starting the season in the next week or two got to go and clear sum cover on one of the permissions as farmer been seeing rabbits kicking about so need to get that sorted and keep him happy .

They're all back together in the new court i made them.... no bug changes on day to day looking after though Shavings on the floor, shredded paper in the bed, grub and clean water.....

When I kept ferrets their bedding area consisted of sawdust on the floor, an old football with one patch and the rubber inner removed, that then had an old 1mx50cm fleece blanket, halved, one half ripped into strips and the other half complete, that along with paper shreds and they would make them selves a nice warm nest,
