I had one of silverfox and after the 3rd dig it broke, not getting the man down but i'd try n make one yourself with a local welder

Unless your somewhere yuor not meant to be and have to keep it hidden in a rucksack i cant really see the point in them.Ive been out with lads that have had them in the back of a 4x4 and we could drive right up to the earths.They are never as good as a normal spade.

I've bought the cold steel small spade, damn sharp piece of hardware. Given to the special forces - handy for digging a dog out on those unexpected occasions and nice handy size for ya belt/backpack.
