Grousekeeper84 2
Hi people I am planning building a custom rifle in 6.5X47 Lapua and was thinking of building it on a Batt or Alpine action and was wondering on everyones opinions on these or whether I am better just to try an get an old knackered remmington and having that action blueprinted? Thanks Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
All depends on what sort of money you want to spend. The bat actions are expensive but you get what you pay for. Also it will hold good value. Where a blueprinted remmy wont as such. Then you have the wait if going for a bat. Unless the smith you plan on using has some in. There are some great uk actions on the market now with out long waiting times. Also most machine them now to suite the 6.5x47 small firing pin. So cratering primers are a thing they of the past Quote Link to post
