Would like to see some pictures of some peoples First Ever Lurcher they ever had, what cross was it if known, what quarry it worked and how would you compare it to the dog you have this season?

3/4 grey 1/4 bull took everything single handed a lot more head strong than my current lurcher which is of same breed

you hear of alot of people say to this day that a dog they previously owned back in the days was a much better worker and all rounder than the one they have now, i think years back the make up of the dogs breeding probably wasnt that important longs if they had a lurcher it didnt matter, but i think over time this has changed as certain people will only run certain crosses or doesnt want a certain breed in the bloodline

My first Lurcher was a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie Hancock dog his dad was stormin Norman . Was a big dog 70 lb and 30 " . Also had a small Lurcher who was a lot better on the lamp .

My first lurcher cost me £15 it was a whippet x whippet / mongrel (farther x daughter bred ) stood about 20 inches took eveything from mice to roe , was a good bitch for pinning foxes

My first dog was a pure gh straight from craven park paid nothing ran it the next day took a roe and 2 hare fantastic but never caught another thing little jacker but god could it move like the wind
