Ye they supposed to be very good alrounders if you got the time and don't rush with them :) think id be after a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bearded bitch. Don't know about bearded or border really don't really know difference? Something that needs looking in to :)

Yes I agree I've never had one so I cannot speak from experience, but I believe border is the safer easier dog to train, and would be more true to type. the beardie cross being somewhat wild in comparison , which I would like. Have you seen his book World of Lurchers which may give you an insight into his thoughts on the matter ? he really is very knowledgeable about all dogs and very approachable .

Anyone got a lurcher from Hancock and worked it ? How they turned out to be?

you wont get a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bearded collie off hancock. he does not breed them anymore. he does not have 1/2 greyhound 1/2 bearded collie stud dogs these days.
