Something that needs looking in to Yes I agree I've never had one so I cannot speak from experience, but I believe border is the safer easier dog to train, and would be more true to type. the beardie cross being somewhat wild in comparison , which I would like. Have you seen his book World of Lurchers which may give you an insight into his thoughts on the matter ? he really is very knowledgeable about all dogs and very approachable . Quote Link to post

Something that needs looking in to you wont get a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bearded collie off hancock. he does not breed them anymore. he does not have 1/2 greyhound 1/2 bearded collie stud dogs these days.
