morton 5,368 Posted October 6, 2012 Report Share Posted October 6, 2012 Nice frost and sunny sky,the best time to be out and about with the mutts,as long as the ground is,nt frozen hard.Id rather miss a day or two when the ground is unsuitable,with our winters its never to long before the frost abates,than injure a dog and miss days,even weeks,then have to get the dog back up to speck again.I agree that lush fields and land with cover underneath is still runnable,if a long gallop ensues you have little control were the dog will venture.
