Phantom 631
Hi SS, I live in a one room appartment, my guns are all in slips, there are my shooting trophies and photographs of me shooting on the walls. He told me that he was a paintballer and skirmisher. He asked me if I was an airgunner and I said yes. He saw a Baretta Pistol on my desk that I was working on, he saw my slips that house my rifles and I have no doubt that he noticed my collection of inert rounds as well as they were near my Shooting Trophies and Airgun Books on the bookshelves. hw97 8
Why not ask the police officer that come round an looked at your guns to give you a report to say there above board an show it to the inspector from the council just a thought mate all the best with it anyway last thing you need is to loose your house Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
This is just stupid, just keeping a damned deskpilot in a job! Quote Link to post
toby63 1,236
i live in council property told them about my guns taken a copy of sgc and that was that copper came round to inspect and every thing is fine Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
I can't see why they would do it. Fair enough if you had to have a license. But its not, and your obviously serious about shooting, with trophies, photos and books laying about. You rent it, you live there so you can do what you want. I have a utility room out the kitchen rammed with gun stuff. If I want my gun out of the slip, il have it out the slip in my own house. Unless I threaten someone with it or shoot out of my boundaries there's not alot they can do about. You have rights, simple as. I thought they would be more concerned about drilling the walls/floors for a cabinet. f**k um ton, when they realise they just being assholes, go further to say how much its stressed u out an make a big deal about it, I would. But I don't have a licence, there is no such license in England for a sub12 Air Rifle. Going by the wording of the tenancy agreement they wouldn't give a damn about my Air Pistols or my co2 Pistols or co2 Rifles. All this because Michael Ryans mother said "Shoot down the shops and fetch me a loaf of bread will yah son"  Sorry, but if I cant laugh I'd be f*****g crying again. Malt 379
Sounds like they're getting their wires crossed Tony. Those restrictions probably only apply to licensed firearms and the stupid/lazy c**ts can't be bothered to check their own rules on such things before acting.. Quote Link to post

milegajo 595
Get that letter, write nice and clearly in capital letters: UNNOTICED UNACCEPTED. Mosey on down to your local PO and with a wide smile send it back via recorded delivery. Repeat the above for any formal paperwork that displeases you... 1 Quote Link to post

Tony One of those realistic 92F type ones? You can sort of see why he'd be concerned if that was the case, what if it was real and he'd stumbled on a loon .......... Hopefully it will be easily sorted for you though, if there's no offence then there's nothing more to do or say surely? 1 Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
In history slaves are not allowed weapons .The councils ,bbc, and other officials in our lives are just letting us know who and what we are. 1 Quote Link to post
