Madcowz 0
Reply from Karen at Timber Products with regards to the ferret boxes Artemis & I purchased. I mentioned that mine required a little extra sanding (not much) and that Artemis had problems with the catches on hers. Good customer service. /Mad Hi, I am glad that your box arrived, i am sorry that you had to do a little sanding before treatment, if the box was to be treated by ourselves we always place a coat on and then give a final sand and treat several times more but as these were un-treated boxes we are not able to do that, i hope that you are still happy through. The other person with their box that the catch that needed ajusting she should have contacted us as we would have re-placed the catch or the complete box as that is our customer service policy to do that - the catch must have been damaged in the post as we only use top quaility catches and they are all checked before sending out obviously mistakes can happen but we do try our best, Thank You for your comments and i hope that you were happy overall with the customer service and the product - we will take all your comments on board and see if there is any way of preventing these things happening again, Oh also we have placed an advert in countrymans weekly a couple of weeks ago (the welsh Game Fair edition) with our summer prices and doubles are still £16 at the moment, as i know you suggested special prices to people on the forums. Thanks Karen and Mark Quote Link to post

richie 1
thats who i get mine off "theferretboxcompany" there rock solid. only down side the bolt that they hold the strap on with needs turning round so not to have the thread of the bolt inside the box just incase the ferrets catch their eyes on it, so when i got mine i turned the bolts round and cut the excess off. well worth the money. Madcowz 0
Good tip - I'll turn my bolts around - how the heck to I cut the excess off (sorry to be so "girly"!)? I would use in order of preference: 1) Angle Grinder (noisy but quick and the kids love to watch the sparks) 2) Hacksaw, quiet but slow. /Mad Quote Link to post

However I must say that from my experiances I nearly put a thread up on here and the other two sites informing you guys on how they conducted there bussiness. As a form of apology for the way things turned out I was promised another ferret box, but sadly as with the others it has failed to appear. Just becareful. Im sure that judging by this thread that it seems that Im odd one out as many of you have been extremly happy with the service you received. Quote Link to post
