scotty3968 0
JUST CAME BACK FORM MY FISHING TRIP TO THE MULL OF GALLOWAY, Had a great time even though the fishing wasnt to good, i caught 4 pollock which were all keepers on float and sandeal the biggest about 4lb,not a single mackeral ,and way to many dog fish to mention ..i think the weather had a mojor factor it was blowing a hooley which made the east side of the point quite unfishable so i bimbled over to the west down some very scary cliffs for the pollock, after setting myself up and casting in some rag and my float set up i noticed a seal swimming in the area which was nice to sea but i didnt think it would heighten my chances of a catch,,anyway i cracked on partly because i didnt want to climb back up those cliffs in a hurry, soon the float was dunking and i was a happy bunny,,just the 4 hour drive home to push out but it was all worth while even just to see the fantastic scenery that scotland offers. This was my second fishing trip after a break of ten or so years so im getting the bug again tight lines scotty Edited June 15, 2007 by scotty3968 Quote Link to post
