You should live so long Ade Edmonson is ok, but I think a more appropriate commentator would have been Denis Nordern from" It'll Be Alright On The Night". I've now seen three of Mr Gallagher's videos, the kindest comment I could make on them is, " no comment". Oh well, I suppose someone had to fill the gap left by ," Some Mothers Do Ave Em". inan 841
Well that make a change normally so vocal on your thoughts I respond to comments from others when I think it is warranted, positively, or negatively as the occasion demands You already know my opinion of you, but if you wish to re-open hostilities, feel free to do so. I don't think you have the artillery to trouble me unduly. Quote Link to post
Hywel 53
As the warren looked to have been potentially a deep one with various layers, putting in more than two ferrets may have assisted. Sods law though once a camera is introduced Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
It's a shame that people don't take a little more thought when planning something like this: not during summer time, rabbits with young, not bolting well, crops up, deep bank warren: the list goes on. Years ago we did a little interview and ferreting with our local BBC Look East, when the marches were going on during the lead-up to the ban: we picked a shallow small warren we knew well, made sure there were rabbits at home before letting them turn on the cameras (used a dog to mark them first), then made sure that we both knew exactly what we were doing, and the crew also knew what was likely to happen: putting them in the best places to film a bolt etc. Not rocket science: just needs a bit of forethought IMO. Edited a few hours later to add: I seem to have upset some people over my comments, for which I apologise, but I stand by what I said. It is always dangerous to appear in front of a television camera crew who know nothing about hunting, and even if they don't do it intentionally, they can make people appear in a less than favourable light. It pays to have full control over the editing (if at all possible), or say no to being filmed at all. 2 Quote Link to post
