It's hard to join this site you know. You lot all seem to know each other well and the banter is furious which is a laugh to read but not something a stranger can join in on. Also, if like me you're inexperienced and trying to learn you can easily look like a twat when you're not you're just being tentative cos you don't really know the lie of the land on here.

I don't know if I'm one of the people you're worried about and i don't know what to do about it if I am.

I joined to learn but I hardly dare ask a f*cking question at the moment the threads go ballistic so fast.

i know what you mean i am new here too and dont know anyone but i answer questions etc anyway i have worked with all types of animals all my life and know that what i say works im not saying its the only way but it has worked for me so if someone choses to use or ignore my advice thats up to them some times the best way to learn is to observe from afar just read and ask questions if there is some one out there to help you they will

Thanks for that! I've spent time on non hunting lurcher sites and in lots of ways they're great but I've got worn down by people jumping on me when I celebrate my dogs catching rabbits even with an inexperienced hunter like me and am looking forward to sharing successes and learning on here.

I'm totally stalled at the moment as my best dog is injured and may lose a toe if it doesn't heal - it's reopened twice - so we're lead walking and frustrated while my lovely big bum bitch bounces around ineptly, bless her.

I get it personally too! I have had threats against me and my dogs, from people, I personally think they are full of **it and just want to cause trouble, well they must be cowards anyway because they never use their real name!

You're right there Bob! there's far to many people getting accused as Anti's when they still trying hard to feel themselves around the site, there has obviousley been Anti's on the site but they normally out themselves in the end someway or another! There's some seriouse Hardcore hunters on the site who look after their own, its not long before a genuine Anti will fall foul of them and come unstuck....

Guys, i am sure you can imagine, its a long job reading the threads for things that could be "quoted" against us. Often there are things written from within our own ranks but there are also many things that Anti's write on hunting sites, so they can quote us. Its a weird scenario. This site is the largest on the net in the Uk and if it goes on growing at this rate who knows where it will end up in the worldwide ranking.

We must validate to keep the site as "secure" as possible, but its nowhere near 100% and there will be a few anti's within our ranks...but theres little we can do about it.

Any newbies are free to post and if they post sensible posts and threads thery will soon be excepted into the ranks...We are a friendly bunch....seriously,...we are...
