Peter4190 85
It's not the size of the dog at all I have seen bull x Greys takin far more of a beating than a whippet x s Quote Link to post
johnny boy68 11,726
Lots of x's took foxes pre ban BUT is taking a couple now and again deemed a "fox" dog Apart from a odd few all the best true fox dogs that were taking them regular that I seen were bull/greys of differing percentages. 1 Quote Link to post

rossthedog 76
lampimg foxes what a joy , its nice to see different types of dogs doing what they are bred for like most foxing men the bull x greyhound was the preffered breed used to go out 3,4 or evenmore times lamping a week plus daytime bushing and digging agger dog took the work load easier but a mate of mine had a little bull /beddy whippet type only 19inch to the shoulder when he used to drive down with this bitch i used to get quite exvited this little bitch would breack her neck to get a fox fair enough she didnt have the build for more than 1 or 2 but h er heart was more than willing the thrill watching this little girl run was immense great memories great dogs big nd not so big Quote Link to post

I can ASSURE you there were Bull X's around here at least 10 year before that, ( yes, APBT x Greyhound). Cheers. 1 Quote Link to post
Peter4190 85
I saw alot of FIRST cross bull Greys doin a better job than say a 3/4 bull grey I was wondering is this because they are slightly slower and can turn better with fox, as a fox rerly runs flat out in a straight line ????
