BS40liam 203
I don't know as I've never kept anything saluki based, I'd imagine your right but am intrigued if there's lines that did better down this way. I've done abit by you but not a lot, are your fields similar to south Devon ? I havnt been around south devon to much but what I have seen there isn't really much difference although in some places by me we have some very large fields but mostly small...and more than often if I'm just driving around I notice a lot more hares in smaller fields than when I have been walking larger ones. A lot of my mates have saluki whip greys or whip greys. Quote Link to post

gamerooster 1,179
What lines are they Richie? And very gr mate there not all the same though, it pays to do a bit of homework first, maybe a coursing bred dog, to a good little lamping bitch, something like a whippet greyhound should be ideal for what you want Quote Link to post

BS40liam 203
I like the sound of beddy greys aswell, alto I've got a beddy whip 1st cross. Me and the misses was discussing either a new pup or waiting untill my pups got a few years graft behind her then maybe put a nice beddy grey over her to keep a pup or 2 for our selfs Quote Link to post
