blando 0
As a few people on here said it would be a good idea to make a underground nesting box to keep the ferrets from the heat. So not having anything better to do today I gave it a go the idea is to insert a piece of polystyrene in the top to insulate it further from the sun and then place a slab on top. Not sure it will work but its worth a try! as you can see brick work is not my strong point! Edited June 14, 2007 by blando Quote Link to post
Madcowz 0
Jeez, I thought I was the only mad one doing the heavy construction with my concrete floor. You have taken it one step further, like it! Would quite like to incorporate this into my outdoor run which I may build at the end of the year, kinda Phase II. /mad Quote Link to post

Guest MOLLY
Brilliant idea Two things which would worry me especially if you feed raw. If you are covering the surface of it with soil?....if so will you not have to dig it out several times per week to clean it out...cos i know mine would drag the corpse down to eat in bed. And what about the tube being blocked with dead bunny and suffocating them?............sorry but i'm one of nature's worriers MOLL. Quote Link to post
