Waz 4,262
thats what i was thinking, now the police are saying her family have to come to terms with it....how can they with out any body and police have not stated any evidence found They know through forensic but can't say because it might f**k a trail up I read that the missing girl had played in his car a few days before, so there'd be evidence in there anyway. If he has done this, wonder if he planned for the girl to be in the car a few days previous...?
christian71 3,187
Like i said before i had a mate who got murdered and hasn't been found but dna evidence found in his van put the fella away and the perverting the course of justice charge could be due to him getting rid of the body so it can't be found and used as evidence, don't need a body these days to get a conviction but them dna evidence only proves she was in his car not he killed her. Not if there is blood on him and in his car?

WILF 46,834
WILF it's mainly media hysteria that makes people think their kids are in more danger than they used to be. I'm more concerned about the huge percentage of childrenw ho hardly ever venture outside and lead sedentary lifestyles leading to obesity and diabetes. Those kids don't even get a chance at leading a normal life. Most kids are murdered or interfered with by someone they know, this has pretty much always been the case and there is very little that anyone can do about it unless we are all going to stop trusting friends parents and family members. I appreciate it might not be appropriate considering that a little girl is missing and probably dead but the statistics show kids are far less likely to get killed today and child murders are pretty much the same as they were 30 years ago. Add on to that the fact that there are CCTV cameras everywhere and CRB checks on anyone who has contact with children and I would say that all in all children have never been safer on average. "Figures from the Office of National Statistics show that in 1976 the number of children who died (from accidents, violence, illness and disease) was 12,000. In 2005, it was fewer than 5,000." I am sure your right mate, but to be honest I can live with maybe being labeled an over protective parent........I would rather be that than the other thing. I have had to take chances every day of my working life but the one thing I won't take a chance with is my babies no matter what.

They found my mates blood in the fella's van and on some of his clothes that's what got hi murderer convicted and the fact my mate is still missing,so in fact the no body bit was as important as if he had been found but was forensicly clean. I am also a parent so I am not saying I let my kids roam free either because I don't and I worry about anything happening to them. I just hate the way the media has us all paralysed with fear
Nik_B 3,790
Anyone find it odd they found his car in a garage but must have abducted the girl at 7pm? How many garages are open at that time?? Something very strange has gone on here.

My niece was nearly grabbed from school this year turns out the dirty nonse was in and out of the school for 3 days no one questioned him who he was. I've got 3 children 2 girls and a boy and they are getting home schooling this world is to f*cked up. they never leave eye site but are out every day to the park/playing on push bikes etc. But I'm always there. I blame parents leaving the children out with no care where they are, I see it where I live then when something happens its to late to be concerned like said above I take no chances when it comes to my babys
