darbo 4,776 Posted September 30, 2012 Report Share Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) get a gundog book much better for basic obedience and retrieving practices. gundog training for amateurs by richard sharp is good in my opinion.these type of books tend to give you advice when things go wrong in training/retrieving practise.there are good lurcher books regarding the starting and different types of hunting with lurchers.The main stumbling block some people find training pups is the retrieve this is were gundog books and their advice ,tips and techniques are good.
