rossthedog 76
if you have given him 18months mate i cant see why another 6 months till end of season wont hurt with the work rate picking up now something may click hes saved you a lot of grief on this dig by locating your bitch so hes earnt a bit of a reprieve, but you know what you want and what you expect its ok asking for opinions but i would imagine you have made up your mind what to do good luck with whatever route you follow. 2 Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
Many dogs won't stay behind another dog, especially if the dog is male and young and the bitch older and experienced: what did you expect him to do? Latch on to her tail and start ragging her? 1 Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
i would keep him and try him solo why didnt you collar up the black bitch and just dig to that? Quote Link to post

BOSCO 90 11
seen many a terrier passed on at this age because of similar reasons only to turn out great workers at 3 , 3,1/2 ,years old ., so sometimes its worth sticking it out a bit longer 1 Quote Link to post
rock 64
Bolster its his 3rd time also bbb the drain used to be blocked so no no need for leads Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
I'd also pack the bushing with him in for at least the season, concentrate all his work below ground. Let him know that this (for the time being) will be his vocation. Quote Link to post
sallie 67
and as they say patience is a virtue, dont give up. I have a dog that didnt go to ground until she was 3.5 plenty of time. Quote Link to post
