Shepherdess 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 Forums are always a difficult one to run because you have to draw a line somewhere, but its getting the level right to please everyone without upsetting others thats the difficult bit. Its also nice to to be aware of what the general guidelines are, for example you stated about the rasicm comments, most sites would not allow that, so without strict guidelines the content can sometimes end up a list of what the moderators views are. Ive only been on this site for a few days but it seems well run and fair. Admittedly my sites are of a very different nature so you kind of expect alot of banter - myself I welcome it because I think it encourages people to sit with the forum running in the background and then they are there for when they are needed to answer the serious questions. Anyway, ive got sites and forums all over the place and ive got one that doesnt get used for much at all - so if anyone wants to drivel on it, or just use it for general chat then be my guest because it seems a shame to wreck a fabulous forum like this for the sake of boredom. Its attached to one of the sex sites so no hunting talk or I will moderate you - with a large stick!!! www.kinkycatz.co.uk/forum - be my guest. Hope im not overstepping the mark with this comment, but if some of the non-hunting conversation can be removed from where it is obviously not encouraged, then surely that can only be a good thing.
