bobcullen79 1,495
Hi All... Its my first time raising any birds for the table, and I was wondering what was the best way to prepare a 9wker, regarding hanging and drawing? Thanks for your time... bobcullen79 1,495
Hey.... I thought no one replied. First I withheld food 24hrs, then bled it out. Then I got the Mrs to finish the plucking..... I drew it an hour later. Washed and weighed it 5LB 12oZ. and its been resting for 48hr in the fridge. Gonna try it tonight.... Still a bit warm down here Joel, so theres still quite a few flies about, so no hanging for me just yet.
