Home made lamps

Hi i have a spare car battery in my garage and an array of wires and fuses. I was wondering if ayone has ever made a lamp from say a car headlight and battery. I know in the past motorcycle batteries were used cus of the weight etc, but at the moment im shooting from a car so carrying it is not a problem just finding it difficult to get to all rabbits as were relying on the headlights. Any information would be grateful thanks. adam

you can get a 12v plug lamp for about £10 on ebay or use a car spot lamp and change the bulb to 100watt as for the battery if your lamping from the car just use the fag lighter.

I used to lamp with a spot off a car and a motorcycle battery If you can get a good spot there not bad, But now I have the lightforce striker and theres no comparison I still use a 17ah motorcycle battery theres endless power in it, just abit heavy

i got cheep 1 million candel spot light lamp from netto for a £5 and got 2 12v 7amp battries of a mate and riged them both up they last for about 10hours

i know its not homemade but i had enough bits and bobs stuck on it that anyone would have thought it was homemade... it was a 1mill cp night blaster... a bit big but for £8 it was a cracker...
