Have you ever seen a ferret?

Mate from what i read the only idiot response is from you. I know people trust their dogs with kids, and go through life with no incidents. but im afraid babies clambering over dogs is a big no no. Mo

ive been toying with the idea of an 18ft python it would be able to get anywhere in a warren and has the added advantage that its tail would still be on the surface so no need for a locator

now i know there no such breed as a mini jrt just x with chiwawa or whatever but im talkin a 5/6" jrt which i have seen about and using it as an earthdog for rabbits instead of a ferret much easier trainable and much less hassle than a ferret?

just a random question really no plans on doin so just wondered if anyone did so or thought it was possible?

even the smallest of jacks or jack cross would get stuck eventually, even so small terriers do bolt rabbits on occasions

Most the horror stories you read about some poor kid scarred for life are accompanied by a statement from the cretin owner saying '' but he was always great with kids''. sorry mate but i value my kids too much to ever put them at risk.

ferret has more bottle than your average jack russel and russels dont like pushing into tight places like ferret does i think foxes bolt from russels out of sympathy or they get tired of their high pitch screams every time they think there closer than 6ft from a fox,i expect russel owning enthusiasts are very accustomed to digging to rabbits when out foxing but for a real rabbit bolter i think you may be better off going down the plummer terrir route.
