He looks a very powerful dog Mo , I couldnt handle a dog that strong , Robs a big dog my greyhound , but he is laid back , I doubt I could have handled him if he had been a mentally strong dog as well

Kay im telling you this dog had my head away - but i just had to be firm with him, he's a big softie really.. Once he knew who was boss and started seeing the way Mo Chara behaved etc he calmed down alot. Although he is still a big bouncy idiot, he knows his place :victory:

Only one sofa  you have gotta love pups  , that lurcher i had was good & bad in equal measures , I had to get someone to turn all my door handles over to stop him nosing them down & getting it to the bedrooms , I had gates on all the doorways & he shinned them , I replaced dozens of continental quilts of the beds because he would shred them , the bizarre thing in all this was i was home all day & he still wrecked the place :censored:

I should have crated him as a pup but it was donkeys years ago & a very expensive learning curve

Although theses greyhounds wernt pups when i had them , I have been harder on them than any other dogs I have had , its payed dividends for me who cant afford to have 2 big dogs running round terrarising everything that moves , oddly enough the terrier was the easiest dog to train , although she was a little odd at times being hand reared , but an extremely biddable little dog & the best house dog i have had

He pulled all the stuffing out of the couch little fecker, bought a secondhand sofa to do until he grows out of it, worst part is his house training... If you dont let him out the minute he whimpers to go out he stands there in front of you and pisses... Even if its 2am in the morning... Think he has me trained aaarrrghh

Well Kay id say if Jerry-Lee was only coming to me now at his age with his size and wasnt trained... Big NO NO, ill admit - i couldnt do it, it was hard enough training him when he was a small pup  Im not going to sit and say he's not hard work, he is and im not going to lie and say he's 100% perfect now - he isnt ... but he is obedient and does most of what he is asked :victory:

Rob isnt obedient in any way shape or form , he has zero recall , but he is a nice dog basically & I like him round the place , he trips over his own feet & walks into things , but even lead walks I like to keep on top off him , one thing I have learned keeping these greyhounds is dog body language , these 2 arnt vocal dogs , they dont bark or whine , but I learned very quickly about posture even on the leads , madge especially who is good off the lead & obedient

Dont suppose you work them Kay.? Or they just pet's..? I find Jerry-Lee can be stubborn at times, getting him brushed is always a struggle, usually ends up with me being put on my arse

No Mo I had them both as companion dogs , theres nothing here rabbit wise anyway to work any dog  , I was criticized when i got them for not working them , but the way i saw it was , I would have been criticized for allowing them to run riot & bother stock , so i was doomed from the start
