salop sniper 32
I have a DS MK4 in .177 and a Huntsman in FAC .22 ! Personally I would go for the Daystate huntsman in sub 12 .177. Just my personal preference. 20 is a nice cal but you have to be able to get pellets and the choice isnt huge ! Nothing wrong with .177 for hunting, personally 95% of my shots are head shots on bunny and feathered quarry, occasionally a neck / spine shot on a pigeon or feral. Phil Hardman decoying pigeons over the last month has had 2 huge bags of 62 and 71 pigons and thats with a .177 so nothing wrong with that ! And last year on a cull job I did using a sub 12 .177 air rifle i had 51 rabbits one night all head shot and very dead to a .177 air arms pellet ! A .177 sub 12 Daystate huntsman with MTC scope and a Daystate silencer shooting domed pellets will make a great hunting setup that will be difficult to better without spening double !
