davyt63 1,845
HI every one after been told the canteen would be open for a FE on Sunday ,by the club owner. Sean of old down pursuits dose not own the canteen and it is down to the landowners wife to do the cooking, well she is not up to doing the breakfast so there will not be a FE on sunday morning! our options are Tesco is down the road, but dose not open till 10:am ,the competition starts at 10:30am so that is out! we can club together and do our own bacon butties, sausage baps, but we will have to be up early. i can look for a mobile burger van,and see if they fancy coming for a couple of hours! or there is a cafe about 5 minutes drive from the camp site? i am really sorry for this inconvenience, i was told it would not be a problem!! i am open to other options ? Phantom 631
Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaaah We can have decent sausages, instead of that emulsified sawdust and reformed stuff that gets swept off the floor Ask your local butcher Davy for proper MEAT filled sausages, Lincolnshire or Cumberland recipe's or even Beef & Pork You wont regret it maybe he/she will do a deal on Bacon and eggs as well? Gotta be worth a try bud Tony PS I'll cook the fooking sausages if someone else does the Bacon, Eggs and Beans Come on Guy's and dolls, lets work together on this I'll ask at the local butchers for prices of sausages if needed and bring em with me (in a cool box) if needed :yes Edited September 28, 2012 by Phantom Quote Link to post

Now that just makes me feel worse for missing this meet, due to my work...which will involve a scrumptious breakfast in RAF Coningsby's Officer's mess followed by a Champaign luncheon and afternoon reception. You won't believe me if I said I'd rather be togged up and shooting in the competitions would you....No I didn't think so! But, I'll suffer on your behalf my hearties! Pianoman 1 Quote Link to post
