poppy1 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 Just to explain I have two jr's and am looking for a dog to put with them later but cannot decide weather I am going to get a border terrier or a paterdale his life will be the same as my girls bushing ratting and ferreting and just wondered what you lads thought about it. Thank you guys for your help have had a look round and managed to pick this little lad up for £300 we have named him Bristle he is 8 weeks old and full of the fun that they are at that age will keep you all posted on his progress. pointer28 1 Posted June 16, 2007 Report Share Posted June 16, 2007 He's a cracker!! I love border crosses, have one myself, I find them a bit more sedate than full lakelands/fells. They inherit a bit of sense from the borders, especially if you want them for bushing, ratting etc rather than pure earth work. In saying that, if I was after a pure digging dog I would go for a patt. Quote Link to post
