Tell me about Pure Salukis

I know alad whos selling a pure saluki pup 15weeks old very well bred khan jihad lines.very nice dogs.but there all about the handler if there able to cope .as they can be a handfull.but i agree with desertbred as iv seen mum and dad of this pup goin and there both excellent day timers

A guy comes on and asks about PURE SALUKI and people answer him talking about Saluki crosses and even Beddy crosses !! LOL !!

I've had pure Saluki and Saluki Cross, and no way would I class them as "allrounders", as the OP wants ! From what he is asking, he'd be better off getting a genuine "Lurcher x Lurcher" that's from parents that have done the type of work he wants !

Of course, the Saluki owners will say their dogs do everything, but they don't do it as well as a purpose bred Lurcher. Don't even dream of getting a pure Saluki for ferreting, unless you are some sort of masochist ! LOL !

Yes of course it is; and I own a Beddy X ! What he is asking is about PURE SALUKI, and I DON'T think that would do what he wants ! So please don't make an argument where there isn't one !

the best dog i had was heavily saluki based, and he was terrible on rabbits, his best bag was 2 out of 3, and his worst was 1 out of 10, he just coudlent bend them
