Guest Leveller
I had a call out today from a keeper who's at his wits end, he'd been losing birds as they come off roost and couldn't get the culprit with a gun as the pen is surrounded by maize. There were wires everywhere and he was desperate (he must've been to call me before anybody else says it). I found a likely spot and dropped the young red dog in he was on the mark in no time baying away for all he's worth I sat back over the netted holes quietly waiting for a bolt but it wasn't going to be. So I checked on the box 1.2m and made the decision that the dog was probably trapped so in accordance with the law I dug down and rescued him. Nice and easy going I lifted him clear rammed my spade over the tube and coupled him up back out the way safely. Loaded the pistol and dispatched a big old dog fox much to the keepers delight. That's three for this red dog already this season, last year was his first season and I only had three to him all season because he had no reverse gear and spent months in the sickbay but having the summer to mature a bit seems to have done him the world of good........................................onwards and upwards 12 Quote Link to post
