Then I'm Afraid to say you are rather thick if you jumped in regardless. The chances are your dog would get out, while you drown.

Yes it is stupid, but im sorry - id take the risk..

I'd pay £1000 to watch Scott splash about without a pair of armbands on.................

I pay a thousand pounds to see your dog stop on the the stop whistle lol

 Same thing every year! The public are told that rivers are swollen, or large waves hitting the coastline during stormy weather, Yet people still go with their dogs or kids in prams?. Are some parts of society really that thick and don't take the warning serious :rtfm:

Happened the other way around with my family ... When we were kids my 2 younger brothers took one of the lurcher pups for a walk ... My youngest brother fecked around on the frozen river and went through the ice and was in seriouse danger of drowning whilst my middle brother stood there and watched ... When my old fella asked him why he didn't even try and help or shout or anything he said ... If I tried to help the pup might have run off and if I shouted for help I might of scared it lol ..........

Its because your getting a chance to think about it rationally the now. In the heat of the moment with a screaming owner panicking about his/her dog you might just think it looks safe enough and dive in. Thats when folk get caught out......

Put it this way if Sara Hardings dog was drowning in a vat of lava id strip bollock naked and backstroke out there for the wee b*****d....................

Made that mistake last winter down the beach mate, young pup didn't realise the severity of the waves and decided to go swimming...just kept rolling over and over  that was a cold one i can tell you, swimming out to a pup in the North Sea, not a lot of current but big waves and freezing water and me bollocks retreated back inside :cray: all in my best coat too

Such a shame for that couple.
