OK, i will explain it nice and slow for you, as you dont seem to have grasped the post i wrote.   No problem with poachers, have poached myself, but if you are poaching, it's usually a good idea to

I`ve probaby spent half my life going where I`m not supposed to,, and you know what.. no one has ever found out, cause I made sure no one saw me or new anything about it..   The issue is the stupid

First off, i'd like to say, i don't have a particular problem with poachers, apart from the obvious (when it's someone else poaching my land  ), but some folk are just a menace.

In the last week or so, i've had a couple of issues with other people, because of being in posession of a running dog. These have included a nosey and concerned neighbour, checking us out, and treating us with the utmost suspision and going as far as to say rabbiting with lurchers is illegal (we were on permission), a neighbouring farmer (of a permission) threatening to shoot the dogs if they come onto his land, a farmer whos land we have permission to lamp, being a bit off and grumpy because someone else has been lamping the ground, shining lamps through windows, messing with stock and poking about the farm yard, and another farmer saying to not come down because they have had folk with two lurchers chasing the cows, and had to repair the same fence (that had been cut) seven times!

It turned out in the first instance above, that recently in that area a load of sheep had been mauled by lurchers, and i've no doubt that the second guy (who threatened to shoot the dogs), wouldnt have done so, had they been labs, or even terriers, and had most likely had a fair bit of grief in the past.

All of the above cases were down to folk who were poaching the land, but not the actual poaching. Had they gone about their activities in a half sensible manner, no one would be any wiser and apart from loss of game, it wouldnt have caused us any grief.

Things seem to have changed a lot, from the time when folk poaching tried their utmost not to be noticed, to now, where folk just think f**k it, what are they going to do, and carry on, with no respect. Then you add un stock trained dogs, some theiving and general vandalism and its hardly surprising most folk cant be f****d even entertaining lurcher folk.

And of course it continues, the farmer gives you a frosty reception when you go to ask permission, so folk theink that they are a 'miserable c**t' and so act like cocks to them.

I was reading on here the other day, a lad out poaching, farmer comes in his 4x4 to f**k him off, and folk are suggesting smacking him with a baseball bat, and on another post, kids laughing because they got caught poaching by forestry wardens and gave them a load of abuse etc.

When ive been caught where i shouldnt have been in the past, i have accepted that from where the landowner / keeper etc is standing i am in the wrong, and have tried to remove myself from thesituation in the least confrontational manner and be as polite and calm as possible, apologising. And normally they are pretty ok, or even give permission, they certainly respond better to that than a big 'f**k you, ya c**t'!

It just keeps getting worse, and i'm not sure there is much we can do, but it's f*****g shit, when you try to do things the right way, and you are a in the minority.

pity wasnt more peoplr like you

Ask for permission, if he says 'no' hit him with a bat ennit butt. Fck tha ban cause i'm der man, keep on hunting !! That quote was taken from Darcys new book 'Hunting with Chavs & Muppets' due for release this xmas. i think the problem is everywhere, up here a farmer i do a bit of ferreting for has been threatened with arson and a beating from 4 guys coursing the mans in his 80's ffs, another where i do a bit of lamping has found 3 dead roe in the last month left lying to rot initially he questioned me about it, theres lots more incidents but some of the guys are on here so best not, permission is hard enough to come by, trust takes years to build up and these numpties are fecking it for all the good guys

Dont have too much bother around my way and if I bump into anyone they all know me locally as the girl with the ferrets married to yhe young ******s lad (well known local farming family) so It would be unlikely id get any bother even if I did get caught hopping the fence

Reading about the shite you lot have to put up with is unbelievable to me as im used to rambling where I like without anyone giving me abuse... Theres only 1 farm in the area you could get shot for tresspassing on and theres no game at all on it.

I guess that bit of permission makes all the difference then like them fekin idiots with the bull crosses and shotguns who were photographed killing badgers a wile a go on permission them clowns do more damage to dog work than some body mouching and poaching a few rabbits.

if only the powers that be could suss this, in their eyes a poacher taking the odd rabbit commits the same crime as a numpty shooting badgers or killing deer and leaving them lying

I`ve probaby spent half my life going where I`m not supposed to,, and you know what.. no one has ever found out, cause I made sure no one saw me or new anything about it..

The issue is the stupid "untouchable generation" that seems to have grown out of the social services ideals,, that and f*****g childline making them think they are beyond a good skelping. " We can do what we want and no one can do anything about it" kinda thing.

That and the fact that they all think they are little gangsters that can threaten to destroy anyone who upsets them,,

basically half the shellsuited chav fuckwits who walk about with lurchers and tucked in trackies need a good kicking before they even go out,, just to remind them not to be a twat.
