Bone42 41
Yeah looks good lads..going in with the particle approach as I don't think these would have hardly ever seen a boiled bait..Can't wait :-) 1 Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Feck the parti. Get down there for a few nights with the dog and half a kg of decent boilie, they`ll soon get their heads down. From what I can see,it looks pretty weed free, so there shouldnt be too much natural food about. Good luck and tight lines. Quote Link to post
Bone42 41
Half a kg of boilies? I'm thinking 5kg of particles and a kilo bag of tigers pre baited over the next few nights then fish sat-sun.I'll keep ya posted.!! 1 Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Fair play, give it a go. What other species does the water hold? Ive never really been into parti and nuts, bit of a pain in the arse trying to pre bait on the quiet with it. Quote Link to post
billybaltic 308
Can't beat them tiger's, there grrrreat, hemp with a scattering of corn and tiger's over the top, should have a few good fish, good luck. 1 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
Just a thought, they are not grass carp are they? TC Quote Link to post
Bone42 41
I know nothing of what this place holds though I'd imagine anything that's in the Trent would (while the water levels up as it is) be in here..I haven't seen grass carp, these were all mirrors and commons.no need to prebait on the quiet, not seen a soul here before..went down again y'day to chuck a bit in but didn't see a thing but I'm sure they'll find it.bone!
