kenny14 656
Are you leaving the battery flat or part charged after use, and only charging before you go out? If so, that's likely the cause. Lead acid batteries should always be kept with a full charge. As soon as you come home after lamping, get it on charge.
cawleada04 4
I don't charge it [bANNED TEXT] I get home but its never flat when I leave it
kenny14 656
Well if it's not the battery, it could be a faulty charger. Try a different charger and see if that's any different.
cawleada04 4
Try my fishing lamp one and made no difference. I'll gt a new battery and try what you said and charge it as soon as I get home each time thanks
kenny14 656
It must be the battery then. When you get a new one, put it on charge as soon as you get home after every outing no matter how much use it's had and it should last you several seasons .

redtailhawk1 84
I alway charge mine in the car, never off the mains. My last battery lasted over 7years. As soon as I stop using it I put it straight back on charge in the car. Will never be over charged.
