Malt 379
looks like Attenborough has also got involved , as i understand it there plan is to cull up to 3000 badgers over a 4 year period , if the defra figures are correct & 18,000 head of cattle were destroyed over a 5 month period because they were reactors then 3000 over 4 years isnt exactly going to make a dent in the badger population . I could understand these people if they had given the go ahead to a mass cull of the '' total'' population , if taking the 3000 over the 4 year period make s a difference in highly populated areas & reduces the spread of bovine TB then it quite rightly it should go ahead http://www.fwi.co.uk/Articles/11/09/2012/135103/TV39s-David-Attenborough-joins-badger-cull-opposition.htm Surpised to see him comment on this. I saw him on the One show showing a great deal of indifference towards hunting deer with dogs when Adrian Chiles tried to get him to condemn it..
hily 380
why not cull the cows and milk the badgers ? the production of food is about the only thing this country manufactures now. so should we get rid of all the farms and turn the farm land into picnic areas .Then we could buy our food from other countys that produce food by lets say more relaxed methords this way the rspca could claim to have saved all the country sides fluffy creatures from all the bad men who call themselfs farmers and help with the conscience of the minority of people who bury there heads in the sand and refuse to accept the facts that animals are used in the production of food. the welfare of farm stock should be a priority because THE MAJORITY (are not vegies ) EAT ANIMALS. I agree with all the comments and yes you are right Kay and when the League tried to keep Deer at Barransdown loads had to be put down because they failed to look after them properly, there is a BBC show about it on youtube just type in League Against Cruel Sports sanctuary exposé and anyone can view it if they wish. Kay 3,709
The name Amanda King keeps cropping up in all the news stuff I am finding, she is seemingly a member of a group called '' speak'' she was one of the looneys who had an injunction taken out on her for the terrible way gladys hammonds family were treated regarding the disinterment of gladys hammonds grave some years ago & is described as a '' terrarist'' by the judge who read & handed out the injunctions maybe the likes of may & the RSPCA may well begin to think this campaigning isnt the way to go if its attracting support of the likes of king a known sab as well as others like Ian pedler There seemingly heavyweights in this type of intimidation

I really wish I hadn't watched that, they are two faced, double standard, ignorant, arse holes. They are so hypocritical it's untrue. The LACS spokesman just lies through his back teeth about TB on the estate. I don't use this word lightly but I really do hate these people.

PeakOil 352
The animal right fraternity hit a lot of different groups, hunters, shooters, fishermen, farmers, pharmaceuticals..... the list goes on. If we ALL united it's a war that would last a few weeks with 100% victory. It's never going to happen but collectively we hold a lot of weight. So what would you do to try and unite EVERYONE? How come no one has every tried to do this in the past, or have they? I would love to see all of us unite, it's what is needed without a doubt, unfortunately some areas of our sport hold themselves in higher regard, and look unfavourably on others, there are so many elements to our sport, with different back grounds and origins many different tears of society, I would love to see 1 team 1effort a balanced and professional effort people who would challenge the status quo, we can all go a lot further to help each others cause, proactively it would be interesting to set up a working party,to look into this but I don't know any multi millionaires prepared to back us, f*****g boils my piss how shooters, farmers, anglers, keepers and dog men bicker between themselves. Ignorant of and helping the cause of their common enemies. Something like the BASC but with angling, dog mens, hunts, farmers / landowners and keepers support could be massive. Bigger than the RSPB, bigger than the ARSEPCA and with the ability to squash annoying runts like LACS, NWHSA, PETA and the Gun Control Network easily. An organisation for all countrymen / fieldsports and farmers united that carried real political clout like the NRA in America. An organisation so big that the smarmy c**t Tony bLiar would have thought twice about his ill thought out hunting act. Knowing it would have got the backs up of over two million anglers and hundreds of thousands of hunts, dogmen, shooters and keepers at the same time. The antis would have everything banned if they got their way. Coursing, terrierwork, falconry, ferreting, angling, stalking, game shooting and pest control. Some of the more mental antis want pet ownership and farming banned. Once they get one thing banned they won't go home and retire, the foolish naive anglers and shooters who didn't stand side by side with dogmen over the hunting act are idiots. As it is them who are next in line for the antis campaigns IF they get running dogs and terrier work completly outlawed. United we stand
