its happening everywhere mate ,now the bad weather is coming in and the wheat finnally cut..........there heading in from the fields to shelter and get reguar food .................as there aint much cover now its been cut.................................had a few calls regarding the numbers recently seen :thumbs:

i have never had the number of rats that i have got this year , every time the year is bad you will notice that vermin numbers increase like you cannot believe , rats crows and other things

feck me its just like all my efforts of vermin control this year have been waisted , just waiting for the cold weather to come and i can even things up a bit

Funny you should say, I have noticed the same. Last year was really quiet with the rats. In a month or two I expect they will be well established around the pens and feeders, get to have to fun with the terriers then!

 

Not great numbers of fox about really.

 

Same here, few Foxes, plenty of Rats, but a lot less than there was a couple of weeks ago :thumbs:

Thats a very interesting point that. Never had any bother with foxes on the rearing field until this year and they done a right job... :censored: 5 in total i snared and shot a couple.....They never usually bother them. Funnily enough each night they struck the field was on a very wet windy horrible night..... :hmm:

foxes and them other things have been a real problem this year , rats all over ,more crows than you can shake a stick at and last week i had ravens around the feeders in the wood and i have never had or seen that before

you just keep an eye out mate , every time we have a bad wet year vermin numbers go sky high for some reason , everything else suffers but vermin thrives
