Gutted - it WAS a good night

Recommended Posts

Well, I made arrangements earlier with gh to have a run, and as we new it would be good night, weatherwise. We decided to take young charlie out with us & 3 dogs. Which is not normally something we do, but we did tonight.

I thought the pattern was set when I got out the motor and only had ONE slip lead!

But we bagged a quick ten rabbits

We moved to the other side where the action slowed, getting about 4 I think, and jet dropped one in middle of horse field!

So we moved on, and got onto another spot. In ten mins the bag was full. And I had a few in my fingers...... ... CLICK. lithium battery dead.

Not to worry my lamp was in the motor... a quick walk back, dropped the rabbits & away we went.... 20 mins to half hour, the bag was full again, and I had a strap that was also full.

Back to the motor and 2 mins down the road, we bagged another 10.... CLICK battery dead!!!

Before I go anyfurther, all dogs ran well, jet took some cracking bunnys, but Tyson stolr the show, his best has been 27, and although I wasnt counting, im sure he took at least 30

He certainly did the lions share anyway.

Right, the GUTTING part was the 2nd battery dying. As we were on for 70 I think!

Ended up with 54, lost 3, so 51.

Rickys dog BESS isnf in the pic, as hes not bothered about pics

You cant see the 51st in the pic cos ricky is crap with camera haha

But, well pleased with dogs, they had LLOADS left in the tank, and the batteries stopped before them

Jazz,

The dog that isnt in the pic is a beddy whippet bitch.

The bigger dog on the left is 1/4bull x grey over a collie grey x saluki whip grey.

The smaller dog, is off minshaw lines, or should I say lurcher to lurcher
