whos elses dog done this before

well a was oot for a mooch about the day with me lurcher and he caught a pigeon a tried to get him to retrive it but he took it too some mud and started too dig then he buried it av seen dogs berrie bones but never this . is this them going back to there wild instinkts please exuse any spelling

My mate reckons he saw a dog run away and bury a rabbit once after they tried running them with a dog they had off a gamekeeper years ago. Dog had only ever run foxes and been fed on rabbits apparently.. Don't know how true that is though, he is prone to tell the odd few fairy tale now and again!

My Weimaraner done this with a mixi rabbit a few months back. She ran around with it in her mouth as proud as punch and then tried to bury it in a muddy ditch. Not sure exactly why she did this...maybe a throw back to their wild days
