Tiercel 6,986
I have never used them. But, the first question I would ask is can they do better than purse nets, stop nets, long nets or poke nets that we already use? If you believe they can, then by all means use them. Personally I cannot think when one of the above nets has not covered a netting need for myself. TC Quote Link to post

TC Tiecel as you will know its horses for courses , these nets did a percific job for us on sunday , some off the ground we work are wide roughish hedges , the rabbits bolting on top and dropping back in on top basically not bolting out into longnet and hard to net bolt holes on top as too rough so basically givin the ferrets the run around and frustrating to watch , using purse nets on the runs on top off the hedge sometimes work but these are designed exacly for this and they worked a treat mate and they apparently can and will hold 3 rabbits at a time so usin a purse net on a run would take 1 rabbit until sorted leavin others to escape where as these will do a better job in that situation , though we only had 1 at a time sunday Quote Link to post
Country Joe 1,411
How compact are these nets, in other words how much room do they take up in the bag, who sells them? and can you stick a photo up. Quote Link to post
taffey 1,315
like i said before no use on internet so no photo as yet try and get someone to put 1 on for me there about 8 inch square at the entrance grid then the net folds round the frame so not bulky abot an inch or 2 thick you ll not use them instead of purse nets or longnets but to have a few with you in your bag ll make little difference in your weight /space and you ll definetley find a use for them i only bought 4 and used 3 on sun day and they caught a couple of rabbits we would have missed or had to dig out coz they were running up and down top of very thick hedge brian brinded makes them there 7 notes each give him a bell im sure he ll explain better than anyone he makes them atb taffey Quote Link to post
