borntohunt 19
i think these are hoop nets, ive never used them but heard abit about them, apparently they are what was used before pursenets, not sure how true this is tho Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
Yeah it sounds like brians new nets. You can use them when your bushing aswell i could imagine them bieng handy for when your ferreting adjacent to rabbit proof fences . . . Quote Link to post
taffey 1,315
i got them after asking what they used for he said there for putting on outside edge of pig wire the 4 inch square stuff you push them into ground were rabbits are popping through weather it be lamping or daytime theres a clip with them you can clip them onto wire if its very windy they could be called hoop nets but not sure they ll come in very handy when ferreting be it on top of runs were rabbits running up and down hedge tops like lanesra said they were handy when used for first time yesterday weve got lots of stock fencing were we go ferreting they ll be worth there weight in gold to put on inside of fence were rabbits are running up and down on inside of fence instead of coming out of fence into longnets or to dogs hope this helps they 7 quid each which aint bad if it makes are life easier and adds stubborn rabbits to the bag atb taffey 1 Quote Link to post

Definetly better Tegater , lost lots off rabbits that way over the yrs but these will put a stop to that hopefully , really good piece off gear and will sell well once people see/hear about them in action . heritage 202
New type of net...? There's very little that's new when it comes to rabbit catching especially where nets are concerned..., they certainly sound like hoop nets from your description & if so, they've been used for years but they fell out of fashion.., there "re-invention" sounds like a money spinning idea to me & Ill be sticking with the humble purse net / longnet.......Atb. 3 Quote Link to post
