I was on my way to work this morning and as i was driving down a little back lane just out of town I saw a gang/group of kids walking..There was about 6 of them and the oldest can't have been anymore than 12-14 yrs and the youngest about 7-8 yrs...They all had a bag or rucksack and two had a double ferret box..

 

I had to stop near the junction as they came trotting past my car...So I said "Eyup have ya caught owt" ? the eldest looked at me and said NO...Were on our way now...I asked them if they usually get many and they said ,We usually get half a dozen,but we have had 12s and 14 once.. I could see the excitement and eargerness in their eyes. I wished em luck and went on my way.

 

It puts a smile on my face knowing that these kids will be still going out and doing a bit of mooching with the ferrets ,while others are sat at home on the xbox or out causing trouble.
