snaring...

Recommended Posts

check out snaring articles on here by glenn waters if a novice, get out and track rabbits learn the runs.. visibility is a big factor so set on runs going across field so rabbit is running on long straight run and snare is not seen or sensed as easy as one set close to hedgrow, light evenings allow for snares to be seen by glints or skyline or backdrop, disturb runs as little as possible when setting try to leave as little scent as possible,do proper checks before snaring, use markers ALWAYS.be patient and learnt,if a novice follows glenns exact instruction you will catch if you have rabbits and good visible runs, short grass like golf courses take knowledge as runs less visible and snare cover not available,be safe make sure you have done homework 1st.
