danny300 2,240 Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 went to a spot today with a couple of mates plenty of signs of fox everywhere so checked a few handy dens and no joy so went to another one with 6 holes and drop my bitch in and after a few mins we got a mark of 8ft so let her settle for a while and was still in the same place so we started to open up after about 3ft they moved and fox bolted so filled what we had started in and moved on. checked another 2 dens and no joy went to one with 1 hole let the bitch in and was straight on let her settle and got a mark of 6ft so opened up and after an hour bitch was lifted and fox dispatched. so the bit of cold weather has them starting to go to ground. 5 Quote Link to post

rossthedog 76 Posted September 28, 2012 Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 i like them nearer or just after xmas they normaly a bit more mature then and with a of fire in them a terrier may shine on the early season stuff but later in the year or early next year thats exam times,beggars cant be choosers and pest control must be carried out but if you leave that fox another 3 months it will be able to tell you a lot more about the quality of your terrier jmho Quote Link to post
