if people are infear of there dogs being stolen why dont the chip them

on hear you hear a lot about dogs being stolen would it be safe or not to have them chiped or would it make it to easy for the law to no whos out coursing if a man had to run /hide / etc or if the dog was found lost a long long way from home on the fens etc

its in mate as a few lads i know had to get them done when they were stopped by the dog warden

i did hear something about that but did not hear it was passed

there pushing for it over strays killing sheep etc

In NI they won't issue a new dog licence for a dog unless there is a chip number on the form , this came in in April I think .

No as it's legal to hunt hare in NI , suppose if you werent on permission they could try doing you for poaching
