bobcullen79 1,495
Hi All. Well, after doing a bit with Chalkwarren and Socks last week, I have seen the light and realise how effective a GOOD net can be. Ive ordered 200yd of 6z from Advanced Netting, should be here Tuesaday. Im gonna halve it and make two 50 yarders, a Quickset and a Traditional. My question(s) are How much longer than the net are the lines on a Traditional, and do the line come straight off the top and bottom of the net or do you thread the line round the entire edge of the net? Thanks in advance.... P.S. Looking for some 5" pins if anyone can help... Quote Link to post
smithie 2,443
if you got a 50 yd net you need 50yd top running line 50 yd bottom running line and a yd or half yd each end depending what you want. i would cut it 102 yd and thread it through the top and straight off and through the end pin and through the bottom, dont thread it down the side. pass it through the ens pin at the other end and splice it... there you go ready to rock and roll. bobcullen79 1,495
Im not quite sure, it was around £39 for 200yd of 6z, then you got the vat and postage. Edited to say- Just checked the bank balance and it was £55.68 to my door. Edited September 26, 2012 by bobcullen79 Quote Link to post
